    Grading Policy

    • Participation in the concerts and performances for each marking period is included in the calculation of the marking period grade point average. The performance constitutes a significant portion of the marking period grade,which  constitutes the outcome goal of Vocal Performance.  

    • Dress rehearsals for concerts and/or cabaret performances are required  [inndividual and group preparation]

    • If a student misses a dress rehearsal or performance due to illness [with a doctor’s note], observance of a religious holiday, major family life cycle event, death in the family, the teacher may assign a make-up project or alternative assessment.

    • The teacher may designate extra credit opportunities for additional performances or activities.

    • Students are required to learn the ALL SHORE Chorus Audition Requirements. Students will be required to submit periodic recordings of theAll Shore Chorus requirements for evaluation and teacher feedback.[Portfolio

      Assessment].

    • Students who are enrolled in HONORS CHAMBER CHOIR  are required to participate in the CJMEA and ALL SHORE CHORUS AUDITIONS.
