Financial Aid- FAFSA 2025-2026

  • The U.S. Department of Education has launched the 25-26 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The new FAFSA form is available on their website: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

New Jersey Public Law 2023, Chapter 295, requires that all public high school students complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the New Jersey Alternative Financial Aid Application (NJAFAA) or an opt-out form as a condition for receiving their high school diploma.

This law is to ensure that students are aware of and can access financial aid opportunities to help them pursue higher education or training programs after graduation. Completing one of these applications can open doors to grants, scholarships, loans and work-study programs that can make post-secondary education more affordable.

The New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) is the state of New Jersey home for financial aid information and support. For more financial aid information please visit the HESAA website: HESAA
