Surf into third grade!

   Welcome to Mrs. Doyle's 3rd grade. This year will be filled with excitement, fun and learning. Your child will be given the tools and the opportunities to really explore knowledge. I believe that learning can be an enjoyable journey, where, in the end, we can all grow and develop a true love of wisdom, discover our strengths and passions, and determine our purpose. I am looking forward to catching the wave! 

   I value open communication between school and home.  Class Dojo is a valuable resource to keep you involved in the events and academic topics of focus in our class and school. You will see what we are currently working on in all subject areas; math, writing, reading, science and social studies through class posts and student portfolios.

    We will be learning many things this year. Get ready to "close" read, write expository pieces, multiply & divide, discover what it was like to be a pioneer child, engineer a  locking system & bridge, and make special friendships.

    I look forward to assisting your child in discovering his or her passion and purpose & catching a wave into an exciting learning adventure. This year has the potential to be life-changing for us all!
