Mr. Waggner
Originally from Monmouth county, I received my bachelors and masters in Music Education from the University of Delaware. I previously taught Band/Drama in Newark, DE with the local high school as well as General music at a small K-8 school. It has been exciting to move back to Jersey and reconnect with my roots.
I majored on the Viola in college, but I have always worn many hats and love to teach music of any kind, but especially strings! During my time at UD, I became an avid researcher and specifically studied music teacher and performer identity as well as the positive impact of general music practices in the orchestra classroom. I look forward to providing students a new perspective as the leave replacement teacher for Mrs. June this fall.
Mrs. June
This is my 12th year teaching music! In addition to teaching in school, I also have a private violin studio in and am an active performer in orchestras and groups throughout Monmouth County and the State of New Jersey. I am the cofounder and 1st violinist of Four Shore Strings, a string quartet that performs for weddings, recordings, and other events in the Central Jersey area.
My primary instrument is the violin, however, I am passionate about teaching all the string instruments in the orchestra! I grew up in northern New Jersey and graduated from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam located in upstate NY with a degree in Music Education and a performance certificate in violin.
