ECO-Schools USA

  • The National Wildlife Foundation's Eco-Schools USA program is a nationwide program that engages Pre-K‐12 school students, faculty, administrators and community volunteers in a comprehensive, environment‐based program. The program focuses on greening existing school buildings, school grounds, curricula, and student experience. In addition to direct environmental benefits, the program helps to dramatically improve student skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). It is also a proven framework for promoting youth leadership and community service. (www.nwf.org).

    Eco-Code:

Wall High School’s commitment to reducing its energy consumption consists of not only minimizing carbon emissions in our school but also throughout our society. We will continue to inform and advise the Wall community of the threat posed by the burning of fossil fuels. The Environmental Club will ensure that all progress made on this pathway will be sustained to the fullest extent and as long as possible. Wasteful and harmful energy consumption will no longer be an issue for Wall High School’s healthy environmental atmosphere.
