Primary School - Special Services Staff

  • Asheley Jordan, LDT-C
    ajordan@wallpublicschools.org

This is my tenth year as a member of the Wall Township Child Study Team and my eighth year at the Primary School.  I love working with the preschoolers and staff here as well as being a part of the Child Study Team at West Belmar.  Prior to becoming a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant, I taught first grade for a number of years in Jersey City.  I have three children who keep me busy when at home.  I love traveling with my family, watching my kids play sports and surf, and spending time with friends.

    Felicia Longo, Speech-Language Pathologist
    flongo@wallpublicschools.org

I am one of the Speech and Language Pathologists at Wall Primary School.  I obtained my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Stockton University and currently hold my state license as well as an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. I have been working in the field since 2013.  Along with providing therapy services at Wall Primary, I have also worked for New Jersey’s Early Intervention System, helping children from birth to age three.  The youngest population is where my heart is, and helping them become effective communicators brings me so much joy.  When I’m not working, you can find me spending time outdoors with my husband and two children ages 4 and 21 months. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s speech and language development, please do not hesitate to reach out!

    Laurie Maas, Social Worker
    lmaas@wallpublicschools.org

I am so happy to be returning to Wall Primary School for my 20th year in the role of School Social Worker as part of the Child Study Team. I feel very fortunate to work with such amazing staff and families.  I am looking forward to another rewarding year of watching Wall Township's youngest students learn and grow. I have been employed as the School Social Worker on the Child Study Team at Wall Primary School since September 2004. I have also had the pleasure of working with staff and students at Wall Intermediate School and Central School. I have recently taken on the role of Anti Bullying Specialist at Wall Primary. I participate in Initial Planning meetings at Wall Elementary Schools and collaborate with Early Intervention Services to hold Transition Planning Conferences. When I am not working I enjoy time at the beach and boating with my husband, our two adult children, and our ten-and-a-half-year-old Labradoodle.

    Janine Tonochio, Speech-Language Pathologist

I have worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist since September of 2001. This is my 18th year in the Wall Township School District and my 11th year at the Wall Primary School. Wall Primary School is like a second home to me and there is no place I would rather work. I love the preschool age and population. I look forward to another year of teaching our youngest students to successfully communicate.
