Our Gifted and Talented students will work on many projects throughout the year within our class. Many of these projects will be ongoing and students can choose to work independently on various components in their spare time. It is not mandatory that students work on these components at home. Gifted and Talented serves to offer enrichment for those participating students who seek extra activities outside the classroom. However, they should never feel obligated to complete their project work unless it is something that they would like to do.
I encourage all students within our program to read, research, and find new information on topics about which they are passionate. I want them to use those huge, beautiful, curious brains like sponges and absorb all the wonders they can find about topics that bring them joy and ignite their flame for learning!
