Welcome! My name is Taryn DiStefano and I am a special education teacher at Allenwood School.  I have been teaching special education for 12 years, and this is my third year at Allenwood.  I love being a Dragon!  I received my teaching degree at Montclair State University and my Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification at Georgian Court University.  

 

Prior to teaching, I was a dance instructor and danced for 25 years.  I miss it very much, so I always try to find moments in my day to put on some music and dance! Besides dancing, I also love going to the beach and being with friends and family.  I currently live in Wall Township with my husband and 3 year old son, Liam.  I am looking forward to another great year at Allenwood School!
