Welcome to third grade and Room 9!

This is my twenty-fourth year as an Allenwood Dragon and there is no place I'd rather work.  I graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology from The College of New Jersey.  I began my teaching career at Allenwood and third grade is where I've spent most of my years. I believe there's no better grade. I work with an amazing team of teachers and I am looking forward to working with Miss Gallagher in Room 9 this year. We are ready to make the 2023-2024 school year a success!  

My husband and I reside in Forked River with our two boys and our little dog, Bailey.  My oldest son, Brian, is in college at Stockton University to become a teacher and Jake, my youngest, is a junior in high school. 

I love spending time with my family. I also enjoy hiking, traveling, and especially reading.  It is my goal to instill my love of reading in all of my students. 

I love being a dragon and am looking forward to working closely with all of you this year.
