Mr. Leslie Hollander

Mr. Hollander is the Director of Bands, Orchestra, and Music Department Chairperson.

He is currently in his fifty-fourth year of teaching at Wall High School .

The Wall High School ensembles and students have demonstrated high levels of achievement for decades.

Wall High School performing ensembles have performed in Mexico, Bahamas, Virgin Islands, Florida, Virginia, Washington, D.C.,  Kimmel Center and Lincoln Center Avery Fisher Hall to much acclaim.

    Grading Policy

    GRADING POLICY

    • Student grades will be based upon all requirements as outlined in the course of study, as established by Wall High School and adopted by the Wall Township Board of Education.
    • A multiple means of assessment will be used to evaluate student achievement.  Quizzes, written tests, performance tests, projects [portfolio assessment], individual performance evaluation [rubric], critical thinking projects and individual preparation will be used for assessment.
    • The teacher may designate extra credit opportunities for additional performances, projects or activities.
    • A 3- ring binder with lined music staff paper is required for each student.
    • All assignments and projects are to be submitted or performed in a timely manner.  Late submission of assignments and projects may result in reduced grade points.
